In today’s culture, anxiety and depression are rising at alarming rates. Our society is caught in a creative chokehold—mistaking achievement for conformity, chasing picture-perfect facades, and drowning in endless screens.
That is why Wilder Moon Collective exists.
Through Social Emotional Learning (SEL)-based acting and improv, we give communities of all ages a safe, pressure-free space to turn anxiety into resilience, and isolation into belonging.
With no preparation, no judgment, and no script, Wilder Moon Collective invites participants to step into the spotlight of their own lives: seen, heard, and deeply connected.

We believe that performance art is not a product.
It's a practice.
We do not perform to be GOOD.
We perform because we have a RIGHT to be seen and heard.
By practicing Honest Performance, we influence our communities to act with integrity and empathy.
We foster resilient innovators.
Academic success depends on emotional wellbeing. Research shows students with strong SEL skills perform better academically and have higher graduation rates.
Anxiety and stress are at an all-time high. Over 70% of students report overwhelming stress. SEL-based theater helps them transform anxiety into creativity and confidence.
Bullying and conflict demand prevention, not punishment. Improv and ensemble play cultivate empathy and cooperation, reducing peer conflict and isolation.
Resilience is the foundation of future success. Theater-based SEL helps students bounce back from challenges, reframe mistakes, and build lasting confidence.

Culture is ROI. Toxic or disconnected cultures cost companies billions annually. Our workshops cultivate empathy, inclusion, and joy—transforming “workplace culture” from a buzzword into a lived reality.
Adaptability is survival. In a rapidly changing market, adaptability is the #1 skill. Improv-based SEL exercises train teams to embrace change with creativity instead of fear.
The future of leadership is emotional intelligence. Research shows EQ outranks IQ in predicting leadership success. Our sessions build the foundation for empathetic, resilient leaders across all levels.
Stress is the silent profit killer. Over 80% of workers report stress at work. SEL-based improv transforms anxiety into creativity, teaching teams how to reset, laugh, and problem-solve under pressure.

Loneliness is an epidemic. Nearly 1 in 3 seniors experiences chronic loneliness, which is linked to cognitive decline and depression. SEL-based theater combats isolation through laughter, storytelling, and connection.
Joy is medicine. Research shows play and laughter reduce stress hormones and improve overall health. Our workshops bring back a sense of fun, spontaneity, and vitality to daily life.
Memory thrives on engagement. Improvisation and storytelling spark mental activity, boosting focus, recall, and cognitive resilience—keeping minds sharp in a way passive activities can’t.
Confidence doesn’t retire. Many older adults feel unseen or unheard. SEL-centered creative play restores self-expression and pride, giving participants a voice in a safe, welcoming space.

At Wilder Moon Collective, our workshops are never static. Each experience is designed to be original, dynamic, and responsive—constantly shifting to meet the unique needs of today’s communities. From new improv exercises to fresh ensemble creations, our content evolves so it always feels alive, relevant, and inspiring.

Wilder Moon provides a space for children to explore their wildest ideas and passions in a free form of expression. Meg opens the door to thought and expression for not just the kids, but the parents too. Activities where children can be children, make their beautiful mistakes and build confidence in a group setting while also not breaking the bank. We currently live in a society that shuns children and families. But companies like wilder moon are bringing back villages. All are welcome at Wilder Moon no ifs ands or buts.
-McKenna Considine

"I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop as a tag-along adult and all I can say is that I would have loved to have had experiences like this as a child! Meg does an incredible job of encouraging individual self expression through creative play and movement, while also bringing families and communities together in the beautiful setting that is Mother Nature. Less screen time - more wilder moon workshops!!
-Jeannine Hampson

" This is a unique and fun organization, doing great and very fun things for children, encouraging them to be more playful, take chances, be creative, and have quality family time. We need more of this! glad this fun exists in our community without the pressure of performance - it's about creativity and nurturing kid's artistic voices "
-Nicholas Kowerko

We had the best time at the Workshop! Both of my kids loved it—there was so much fun, exploration, and creativity, all without any pressure. They got to play, dance, and express themselves. The workshop had a very cool and deep idea behind it too.
It was the perfect family activity—fun, engaging, and full of joyful moments. The kids didn’t even realize how much they were learning because they were too busy having a blast!
Highly recommend for any family looking for an activity outside and an opportunity to meet like minded people. Can’t wait for the next one!

After two decades spent in acting and comedy, trying to be someone else all the time got really old.
I felt pressure to impress others with my art which disconnected me from my own truth.
Now, I help people of all ages find deeper connection to their true self through performance art.
Building an empathic, resilient and innovative community one shared self expression at a time.
